Unanticipated discoveries await at this history-rich, treasure of a town!

Beach Fench

Enjoy the beaches!

Walk across Cedar St The beach access is three houses away. Go up to the Inlet and watch the boats and have fun on the beach. Feel free to use the kayaks provided. Also, explore other beaches like Gordan's Pond, Cape Henlopen State Park, and Rehoboth for the day.

Ride bikes

Go to www.traillink.com and discover the trails between Lewes and Rehoboth. Bike to Rehoboth and have and ice cold beer at Revelations . If you are an early riser, take a bike on the Rehoboth Boardwalk. Then go to breakfast at EGG. Map out different daily trails. Cape Henlopen state park has an easy path and a more difficult . Climb the dunes and be on top of the world.

Shopping & Kings Ice Cream

Go shopping and finish the day with a yummy dip of King's homemade icecream. Downtown Lewes offers excellent gift, clothing, art and antique stores.

Lewes Canal Front Park

A fun place to enjoy tennis, pickleball, basketball, people and boat watch. Visit www.lewescanalfrontpark.org to learn about the festival or event that will be available to you during your stay. For a work out, Dimitra Yoga offers yoga classes in the park.

Cape May Lewes Ferry

Stop by and watch the ferry and enjoy the farmers market from 9am -3pm. Have lunch at the Grain on the Rocks. Go to Cape May for the Day with bike and/or car. You can also go on foot and catch a ride on the other side. Usually the ferry offers a live band at night once a week.

Museums

Visit the Zwaanendael Museum to explore

Delaware's first European colony. Also look into the Lewes Historical Complex with many historical buildings to explore.
